We were privileged to have children’s author/illustrator Ben Hatke visit us today! He is an American cartoonist and children's book illustrator as well as a writer. His work is notable for its focus on strong female characters.

NAACP members Brenda Jones, Gwen Malone, and Thea Thomas came by to judge our Black History Month door decorating contest! The winner was Mrs. Ferraro's 3rd grade class with their ABC's of Black History! They won a pizza party!
