Much of what humanity pursues—status, wealth, power, recognition, influence, and many conflicts—traces back to one thing: the ego. The ego constantly compares, competes, and seeks validation. It convinces us we must be better than others, have more than others, or prove our worth. In doing so, it creates division instead of unity, stress instead of peace, and conflict instead of understanding. Observe young children. They ignore social status, politics, money, titles, and approval. They laugh and play together, forgive quickly, and live fully in the present. Their hearts remain free of pride, resentment, or the need to be right. Imagine approaching one another with that same innocence—not childish in wisdom, but childlike in spirit. A world where kindness matters more than superiority, understanding replaces judgment, and compassion outweighs competition. Many spiritual traditions teach that humility opens the door to peace. Loosening the ego’s grip reveals that life is not a battle to win but a gift to share. We stop seeing others as rivals and recognize them as fellow travelers. Faith teaches that a loving Heavenly Father knows our needs before we ask. The real challenge is not scarcity but our fears, pride, and striving, which block trust in that provision. Letting go of unnecessary pride and embracing humility, gratitude, and love creates space for peace. The richest person needs the least to be content. The strongest has mastered their ego and pride yet still chooses kindness. The world doesn’t need more people trying to be important. It needs more people willing to be kind. Leave the ego behind. Choose humility. Choose understanding. Choose love. The peace we seek is often found not in gaining more, but in becoming less consumed by ourselves.

A huge part of Gods promise was a peace that surpasses all understanding and this is something they HATE about you bc they don’t know why no matter what they do… they don’t get under your skin. You have been sheilded, protected, led and guided by the most high. It doesn’t matter WHAT these people do to you or what they say as long as you stay on your path and don’t give in to the illusions they cause to MAKE YOU want to give up, you will be always taken care of. The objective is to put so much pressure on you mentally emotionally financially spiritually that you revert back to negative coping mechanisms, you curse God, and you turn your back on your mission and go back to your abusers so they can dominate your life. It’s all about power and control. You hold the power but they hope the illusions hold you down so long you forget who you are and why you started. Idk who needs to hear this but get back into your devotion and KNOW yourself. The harder they go, the bigger the rewards. It hurts when your transitioning but the Glory that comes after the journey will be SO worth it.

@Kasieobi_1 The saddest part isn’t even the money, it’s how quickly love can turn into hostility when things fall apart. Every relationship should end with dignity, regardless of the disagreements involved.

This is one of the wildest stories I’ve come across. A man living abroad left his wife in Lagos with his two children from a previous marriage. After a disagreement, she allegedly disappeared with properties said to be worth over ₦40 million and $10,000 he had entrusted to her. Things reportedly escalated when she allegedly threatened to leak his private photos and even send them to his children. The voice note in the video below is chilling. How would you handle something like this? 👀

This is a welcome step toward improving cybersecurity, accountability, and data protection in the public sector. Official government business should be conducted on secure institutional platforms, not personal email accounts. The real challenge now is ensuring proper implementation, staff training, and reliable digital infrastructure across all government agencies.

Stories like this are becoming too common. A person can spend years building a comfortable life, only to see it unravel when economic conditions worsen. While personal decisions play a role, current realities have pushed many hardworking families to the edge. It’s a sobering reminder that anyone can face hard times, and a little empathy goes a long way.

Yesterday I heard a really sad story. I went to visit a friend and in his compound there was someone moving out. He told me that the person was given a quit notice. He hadn’t paid rent for 2 years. My guy said he is an engineer and he had 2 cars, living well, married with kids. He once paid service charge for another neighbor who was distressed at some point. Now he is so broke that his kids hasn’t gone to school for a year. Sold his cars and many properties. Jobs stopped coming as much as before so he couldn’t meet up with bills. He is moving back to his hometown. You may blame him for not doing all he could, but this Tinubu policies has affected more people than you think. Also, I don’t know if it’s a spiritual attack or something underneath the surface. It’s just really sad.

As an adult, one habit you need to unlearn as quickly as possible is people-pleasing. If you want to go really far in life, you must learn how to say NO without feeling bad. You must learn how to disappoint people sometimes, especially when it is not convenient for you. NO is a complete sentence that does not need further explanation most times. People-pleasing is the habit of constantly prioritizing other people’s approval, comfort, or happiness over your own needs, boundaries, and feelings. Some of you will break your savings or even borrow money to solve other people’s problems, not because you genuinely want to, but because you lack the courage to say NO or tell them you do not have money to spare at the moment. Then you go behind their backs and rant about it because your pocket is hurting. You put other people’s emotions first while ignoring how you feel. You are exhausted but still agree to help because you are scared they will be offended, leave you, or think less of you. Kindness is not the same thing as people-pleasing. Kindness and generosity come from choice. People-pleasing comes from fear. Kindness: “I want to help.” People-pleasing: “I have to help or they won’t like me.” And the crazy thing about people-pleasing is that it is a complete waste of time, effort, and resources because people are never pleased. You can please someone 99 times, but the one time you refuse, you automatically become a bad person. Suddenly, they forget every other time you showed up for them. The more you please people, the more entitled they become to help that was never supposed to be an obligation in the first place. Unlearn that habit as quickly as possible. Be kind and generous when you genuinely want to and when you are actually in a position to help. That’s it. Because if things go bad for you today, many of the people you spent years pleasing will distance themselves from you. Some will even say horrible things about you. Use your head.

Raise your voice when silence allows ignorance to thrive. There comes a time when speaking up is not an option, it is a responsibility. While sticks and stones may break bones, complacency and indifference can damage entire communities. Change begins when people are awakened to the realities around them. Progress is driven by those who dare to challenge harmful norms, question the status quo, and encourage others to think critically. Let us not remain silent spectators. Let us educate, inspire, and empower. Awareness is the first step toward transformation, and every voice has the power to make a difference. Wake people up, not with anger, but with truth. Not with noise, but with purpose.

Before engaging in any battle, first determine whether your opponent is truly worthy of your attention. A lion does not turn back to fight every barking dog on its path. It understands the difference between a genuine threat and a mere distraction. Not every criticism deserves a response. Not every challenge deserves your energy. Some battles are strategically ignored because engaging in them only diverts focus from greater goals. Wisdom is not measured by how many fights you win, but by how many unnecessary fights you avoid. Protect your time. Guard your energy. Stay focused on your purpose. Sometimes, the greatest display of strength is choosing not to engage.

No high aiming man should fear the labels cast by average consciousness towards him on his ascent to greatness. Passing through people's negative opinions is a rite of passage for greatness as your convictions will inevitably be tested by the doubt and criticism that finds itself at your feet on the journey to greatness. Without disobedience man would know no more or be no more than the neanderthals who preceded him. No planes would hurl through the sky, or beautiful buildings stand tall if it wasn't for man's original virtue. Disobedience. Oscar wilde said this many years before me
Illimitable Man (IM)@SovereignIM

They will underestimate you. They will dismiss you. They'll withhold respect, and try to cut you out. You won't get upset. You will conceal your irritation, and demonstrate competence until you are unmistakeable. Like dominoes, they fall in stubborn recognition. You will conquer.

I learned this the hard way: impressing those who wronged you in the past with money is not a criterion for them to change and become good humans. Human nature doesn't always change as easily as we think. If you are being treated wrongly in an environment and you suddenly acquire the resources to leave, please leave and never turn back.

When you’ve got power, people that have wronged you in the past will try to maneuver and craw their ways back into your life with the hope that you won’t be aware of their manipulative strategies. The ultimate reason they’re trying to affix themselves to you when you’re winning is because they’ve notice they’ll gain much resources from you. Nothing else. Not because they’ve realized they’ve made mistakes in going against you in the past. They just want to tap from your advantages you’ve accrued. And if you allow them into your life, they’ll make sure you go insane until they drain you financially and emotionally. And then the cycle of infidelity and disloyalty continues. Human patterns never disappear.
