You say it’s greed. Instead, I see a single mom who was paying $25 to get to work in an Uber getting there for $9 safely and being able to afford to buy food with the savings. When cars were invented, the people who picked up horse manure from the streets protested because they didn’t want to lose their jobs. In less than 10 years almost all jobs will be replaced by robots that cost $2 per hour to run and will be faster and more productive than humans. Resistance is futile.

Reading between the lines, you are thinking what CA democratic governor Gavin Newsom said to blacks, that they can’t read or do well in school. Now that is racist! There is nothing racist about letting all students of all colors reach their full potential, and without going into debt. SMH

@r0ck3t23 Stop paroting. Some will learn better than others, but all will learn. Specialization is for later on. Stop making stupid excuses to mess things up. This argument is ultimately racist. Put them all together, let them learn to work with each others' differences.

Elon Musk thinks the entire education system is built on a broken assumption. That every student should learn the same thing. At the same speed. In the same order. At the same time. Musk: “Everyone goes through from like 5th grade to 6th grade to 7th grade like it’s an assembly line. But people are not objects on an assembly line.” The model was designed for a factory economy. Standardized inputs. Predictable outputs. That economy is gone. The assembly line is gone. But the education system still runs on its logic. A student who masters algebra in two weeks sits through eight more weeks because the calendar says so. A student who struggles gets dragged forward because the schedule doesn’t wait. Neither is being served. Both are being processed. Musk: “Allow people to progress at the fastest pace that they can or are interested in, in each subject.” AI doesn’t teach a classroom. It teaches a student. One at a time. Every time. It skips what a student already knows. It finds where they’re stuck and approaches it from a different angle. It adjusts in real time. Not at the end of a semester when the damage is already done. A student obsessed with basketball learns fractions through shooting percentages. A student who builds in Minecraft learns geometry through architecture. The subject doesn’t change. The entry point does. No teacher with thirty students can do this. Not because they lack skill. Because the math doesn’t work. AI doesn’t have that constraint. Musk: “You do not need to tell your kid to play video games. They will play video games on autopilot all day. So if you can make it interactive and engaging, then you can make education far more compelling.” The brain isn’t broken. The format is. Kids learn complex systems and strategic thinking for hours voluntarily. Then walk into a classroom and can’t focus for twenty minutes. That’s not a discipline problem. That’s a design problem. Musk: “A university education is often unnecessary. You probably learn the vast majority of what you’re going to learn there in the first two years. And most of it is from your classmates.” Four years. Six figures of debt. And the real value comes from the people sitting next to you. Not the institution charging you. The degree doesn’t certify knowledge. It certifies endurance. Musk: “If the goal is to start a company, I would say no point in finishing college.” The system was built to train employees. If you’re not trying to be one, it has nothing left to offer you. Every lecture. Every textbook. Every curriculum. Now available instantly. Personalized to any learner. Adapted to any pace. The question isn’t whether the old model survives. It’s how long we keep forcing students through it while the replacement already exists.

NEW: Father of 22-year-old woman who was brutally killed by a career criminal, absolutely unleashes during a House hearing against soft-on-crime policies. "[He] dragged her out of bed naked, forced on her knees with her hands over her head ... BANG! Dead. Gone." "Why? Because Alexander Davante Dickey, who was arrested 39 godd*mn times, 25 felonies, was on the street..." Logan Federico was visiting friends at the University of South Carolina on May 3 when career criminal Alexander Dickey, 30, broke in and shot her before stealing her credit cards and going on a shopping spree. Dickey had 39 previous arrests and 25 felonies. Everyone responsible for keeping this man on the streets should be thrown in prison.

@brianraymes @MarioNawfal If all it took was money, governments with nearly unlimited capital would be creating all the new technologies, etc. Elon has the intelligence and vision to make things happen, and that is priceless. Low IQ people try to downplay his roll because, well, they are low IQ people.

Yeah, because Elon personally did all of the work, including unloading the deliveries, moving and installing all equipment, and running all wires. Get real -- he obviously hired or used a ton of people, and likely burned an incredibly amount of overtime. That's not superhuman, that's called being super rich.

NVIDIA'S CEO: ELON IS A SUPERHUMAN, IT'S JUST UNBELIEVABLE Jensen Huang: "Just to put in perspective a supercomputer that you would build would take normally three years to plan. And then deliver the equipment it takes one year to get it all working. We're talking about 19 days [Elon xAl building]. This is a couple weeks, I mean that is like superhuman. There's only one person in the world who do that. Elon is singular in this understanding of engineering and construction. It's just unbelievable." Source: beyondstartup.s

Here in China, because the services are addressing such enormous volume, enormous population, the architecture behind the algorithm, behind the software is incredibly sophisticated. To those who keep saying “high winds caused all this,” Really??? where’s all the debris from the high winds in this area? The street is clean, but there should be tons of broken branches, leaves, garbage, etc. from high winds ALL OVER THE AREA from the surrounding residences and businesses. Some trees in the background are very small and clearly have tiny/frail branches that should have snapped off and blown everywhere.

Ah yes, the totally normal response to being late for work: flooring it through a crowd of unarmed people. Because nothing says “law and order” like turning minor traffic disruption into vehicular manslaughter. You don’t get to run people over just because they’re annoying you. That’s not “self-defense,” that’s just road rage with extra steps. Imagine applying this logic elsewhere—“He cut in line, so I stabbed him.” Still illegal. Still insane. Being inconvenienced isn’t a license to kill. #RuleofLaw #NoVigilantes
