The US is reconsidering its relationship with NATO after the war with Iran Secretary of State Marco Rubio criticized allies for refusing to grant access to military bases and restricting US use of their airspace during the conflict. Washington sees this as undermining the core principle of the alliance: the US provides security for Europe but does not receive equal support in return. Rubio said the issue will be revisited after the operation ends, stressing that the alliance must work both ways — otherwise, it loses its purpose.

The Russians have released images of their fiber-optic FPV “KVS” (Prince Vladimir Svyatoslavych) with its exotic ring wing, built around a 10 inch FPV frame. The closed wing seeks aerodynamic efficiency by eliminating wing-tip vortices. 1/


Pictures show the total loss of 81-0005, an E-3G “Sentry” Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Aircraft with the U.S. Air Force’s 552nd Air Control Wing based out of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, following yesterday’s Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The strike appears to have purposefully targeted the most important part of the E-3, that being rear of the aircraft which holds its rotating radar dome, containing several sensitive instruments including antennas for the E-3’s AN/APY-2 Surveillance Radar System.




A Ukrainian UGV called “Plysht” carries a 9.5 meter extendable mast for frontline control and video communications with UAVs. The system is apparently capable of conducting EW (electronic warfare) as well.
