@Saganismm But it's law and order that's keeps. Our society sane. Imagine if there wasn't any "police", military (Americas boogy man) I don't not think Mr segan would be comfortable enough to say the above.

“Your religion assumes that people are children and need a boogeyman so they'll behave. You want people to believe in God so they'll obey the law. That's the only means that occurs to you: a strict secular police force, and the threat of punishment by an all-seeing God for whatever the police overlook. You sell human beings short.” ― Carl Sagan, Contact

A trader can stay up until 1am and wake up at 3am, drowning in debt, broke, and losing his mind, staring at numbers that took everything from him, yet still believes that the future will be better

Watch old interviews when you get a chance. You will be shocked by how much smarter people were and how better people spoke. It might depress you at first but then it will embolden you because it will remind you how much better people can be and how much greater our world can be, and you can aspire to that and use that as a guide rather than whatever there is floating around today.

In 2010, Zhao Tong, a Chinese teen, bought #Bitcoin for $10. He later built one of the first crypto margin exchanges. But due to security failure, multiple hacks and mistakes made him lose 99,000 BTC — worth ~$9 billion today.

8 years ago, I started my trading journey with just a laptop, a passion for the markets, and a vision. Today, this new car is more than just a set of wheels it’s a symbol of dedication, late nights, and the belief that consistency pays off. If you’re just starting, keep pushing. Your milestones are coming.

Dear @afrisagacity Public commentary requires context, not optics alone. The COAS does not move as an individual; he moves as an institution. Security protocol, threat assessments, and operational doctrine determine convoy size, not personal preference. Reducing national security procedures to “wastefulness” without understanding military movement standards only misleads the public. Please stop misleading the public. 🦅
Obiasogu David@afrisagacity

See the convoy of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) during a visit to the Army Barracks in Odogunyan, Lagos. By my count, the convoy has a fleet of motorcade numbering up to 16 - fourteen vehicles and two motorbikes. Isn’t this wasteful for a country that battles to leave the“poverty of the world” rank and suffers intensifying insecurity?✍️

Having prayed solat in mosques in at least 30 cities in Nigeria and at least 20 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia, I observed two things with respect to solat: 1. Toe-to-toe in solat rows is most common/emphasized in West Africa (Nigeria, Senegal, Cote D’Ivoire) and some parts of East Africa (Kenya, Zanzibar) than anywhereIn North Africa, Middle East and Europe (although Asians or Asian-originated still the people in Europe), they don’t close the gaps in rows. 2. I have not seen anwywhere where non-obligatory post-zuhr rakat are more commonly observed than Southwest Nigeria (+ Kwara). In any typical mosque in SW+Kwara, at least half of the jama’ah observe the voluntary two rakat after zuhr and maghrib prayers. I don’t see this practice that common in other places I have done salat across the world. I know these are not fundamental matters. It’s just me documenting yet another random observation.
