As a fiction writer, I’m a little offended that you can’t make this stuff up.

So much fun to present at the @NACRJUSA conference in D.C. with my RJ writer posse, @lindsey_pointer and @DaynaLorentz. We got to spend a whole workshop with other RJ folks who are also book lovers! What an absolute treat to hang with all of you.

There's no better way to learn an important and inspiring part of our history than to visit Harriet Tubman's home in Auburn, NY. It was amazing to walk the land and experience her whole, real person-ness with my friends and family.
