@davemeltzerWON It’s your *opinion* that Rikidozan of the 50s/60s was a bigger icon than Hogan. Most would disagree I’d bet. My opinion: Compare each 30+ years after their peak. More NON-FANS knew Hulk Hogan. Thats your litmus test. Not nerds like us that breathe the artform.

@davemeltzerWON Hulk Hogan is an American icon. You are delusional.

@davemeltzerWON Dave willing to risk all his credibility on this god-awful take

@davemeltzerWON This is silly. Rikidozan was a Japanese icon and an important figure in that country. Hogan eclipsed him 100 times over on a global market. Filling stadiums in Japan for a few years when the country was still mostly rubble and under American occupation is not remotely the same.

I’m starting to think that maybe the Supreme Court is racist

Vote Trump. Get Elon Musk, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswamy, and JD Vance. This is the best opportunity for major change in government in our lifetime.

@davemeltzerWON Everything you just described happened in one country. That's not a global footprint, that's a national legend. Those are different things and you're conflating them.

Any talent departure makes for crappy news but I’m especially puzzled about Aleister, Zelina and Kairi. All were prominently featured on television pretty regularly. I understand the TKO mindset but it’s odd to me that Hunter couldn’t use his influence to keep them in the fold.

Please practice what you preach then. All you have to do is tell anyone on your podcast to not say anything that could possibly hurt someone's feelings, even in a comparison that hurt NOBODY's feelings in reality. If you do so going forward, congratulations. If you don't, then you exposed who you are. You are years past the days you'd go on our message board to say how your podcasters that the readers were critical of were just works and we should take it that way. But I suppose you could say that again as well.
