If you feel like your long form views are getting less views on YouTube it’s partially due to all the competition you now have on the homepage.
You now compete with shorts, community posts, and youtube playables that are all taking up real estate.
So if you want people to click on your video it’s even more important that you have a good title and thumbnail!

@CrunchyAlly Last year they only did $350 but just like this it’s only 3 months and after even when you get millions of views it’s only like $100-$200. Which is good bu t nowhere near YouTube or even TikTok pay.

@ashnichrist I think it depends a lot on if you are getting very engaged viewers or not. I’ve had some viral videos get 2 million and it’s not very engaged viewers but other videos people want more and will convert on just 100k views

Yeah like last year I streamed on twitch but had the vertical live on TikTok going however I don’t think my pc could handle it. That day I was getting so many new people joining stream gained probably 40 followers from TikTok alone for a 2 hour stream. I couldn’t get it to work the next day and gained like 1 follower in two hours cause the TikTok stream wasn’t going. Also contributed to way higher ccv on twitch. Double viewership with the vertical live going.
