🚨 NEW: The Lib Dems have called on the Government to hold a COBRA meeting about oil prices after the cost of natural gas increased by 25% overnight

The House of Lords have voted narrowly in favour of allowing abortion up-to-birth in England & Wales. The only solace is that one day they will meet Jesus.

Stonehenge tunnel officially scrapped - after more than £179,000,000 spent on plan lbc.co.uk/article/stoneh…

💔BREAKING: On a sad & shameful day for our nation, the House of Lords has just voted to allow abortion UP TO BIRTH to be introduced into law. This extreme proposal will endanger women & threaten the lives of viable unborn babies.🧵1/

Debates around lowering the term limit from 24 weeks remain unwhipped and a matter of individual conscience. But it is clear that abortion up to birth is repulsive and a Reform UK government would reverse it immediately.

This is part 2 of the morning of day 4 reporting in LS vs NHS England; part 1 of the session is x.com/tribunaltweets…

We have spent £180m on plans for a tunnel under Stonehenge. The project is now scrapped. You can be for a tunnel & think spending is a good idea (even if you think the cost of planning is silly). You can be against a tunnel & think spending is a bad idea. But *nobody* can be for spending on this scale with zero result. And yet that is a peculiarly British outcome. Nobody will be reprimanded. Nobody will see their career affected. But that’s £180m of taxpayer money just wazzed up the wall. Totally without repercussions. Multiply this by airport expansions & train route plans and Thames crossings and power stations and other examples you can think of yourself, and… soon you’re talking serious money.

Too many are too polite to say this …but give your head a wobble Nick! London rightly hosts Diwali, Vaisakhi, Chanukah and in a few weeks Easter celebrations But this nonsense of singling out Muslims at an Iftaar open to all Londoners as exceptional is just bigotry. Faith leaders must call out this nonsense from politicians who seem committed to causing hate and division.
