Feline friends rescued! @ClarkCountyFD responded to an apartment fire near Flamingo & Cambridge. Quick action had the fire under control within 10 minutes. The building was evacuated - firefighters brought these 2 cats to safety. One person was transported for smoke inhalation.

The @ClarkCountyFD's EMS-18 has became the first fire apparatus in Nevada to carry whole blood for the treatment of severe bleeding in the field. Rapid access to whole blood is shown to significantly improve survival rates. This program is an approved @SNHDinfo protocol trial.

Counting down to #NewYear2026 in Las #Vegas. The command center at the @RioVegas for the midnight fireworks celebration. @ClarkCountyFD has a station in the center and is communicating with personnel at the 10 rooftop locations making sure everything is good to go.

Community, Cocoa and Cookies! @ClarkCountyFD and @CommishNaft welcomed people near Fire Station 30 to a "winter" holiday celebration. It was 70 degrees in Las #Vegas! There was cookie decorating, entertainment, a chance to see the fire house and more. A fun day for all!

Expanding our first responder presence in east Las #Vegas. Cmsr. @tsegerblom and @ClarkCountyFD held a groundbreaking for Station #62. It will be near Harmon & Nellis. Opening is set for next year. This is the first new fire station being built on the east side in over 20 years.

The @ClarkCountyFD is proud to join the Nevada EMS for Children Program in advancing newborn safety. New AEGIS baby medical wraps help EMS teams keep mothers and newborns together if ambulance transport is necessary. The wraps promote bonding, and crash-tested protection in the first moments of life.
