Haitians are children to most Americans. This is what I've learned over the last 48 hours. Haitians aren't to blame for having children when they have to eat mud. Haitians aren't to blame when they murder and rape each other. Haitians aren't to blame when they have murderous revolutions every 10 years. Children can't be expected to learn to farm. Children can't be expected to not physically fight each other. Children can't be expected to invent anything, discover anything, or build anything. Children lack agency. Children need to be taken care of. Children deserve love and support, even when they act out or violate rules. People think Haitians are literal children.

President-elect Biden was in no danger of being deposed on January 6, 2021 but he was actually deposed as Democratic Party nominee on July 21, 2024, despite his repeated insistence that he didn’t want to go. This wasn’t a voluntary abdication; it was a political hit, with Nancy Pelosi as the button. That’s a coup in my book.

Democracy in the US has been in decline for a long time, if US doesn't remember that freedom doesn't exist without democracy, the same diseases will continue to spread and take control of Europe, ending up destroying the peace that much of Europe achieved post WW2.

Most far right party in western Europe (Reform, RN etc.) are teletubbies in compared to the Republican Party.
