Did anyone notice the new Green MP’s Maiden speech to Parliament had nothing to do with the environment? Or that only 5% or so of the motions currently being debated by Green Members have anything to do with the environment? So yes, the radical Islamists have played an absolute blinder.

For there to be protests, there needs to be a critical mass of supporters who are worried, angered, or who simply care about the direction of travel in the game.
If too many people are apathetic, think nothing can be done (despite the evidence to the contrary) or worse, go into bat for Boston billionaires who are showing little regard for the culture or community around Liverpool’s support, then nothing will change.
A multi-year pricing model is a test. If the overriding response is “ah well”, then Liverpool – and the rest of the Premier League – have effectively been given the green light to fill their boots for the next three years and beyond.
And that’s where this leads: a slow but deliberate shift towards pricing out traditional supporters in favour of the highest spenders.
It’s £1.2m over a year.
It’s not being done because it needs to be done.
It’s being done because they believe they can get away with it.

The problem with putting the blinkers on and persisting with Arne Slot is that it presumes that LFC can live in a vacuum where fan opinion doesn’t count, that the opinion/ confidence of the existing squad doesn’t count, the opinion of potential signings doesn’t count, that continually deteriorating results won’t influence events, that any kind of mediocre/poor start to next season won’t create an intensely toxic atmosphere around the club and finally, that a potentially elite alternative will always be available.

I feel for Slot, but characterising the clubs worst form in over 70 years as a couple of bad results is misleading.

A couple of poor results early on and the knives would be out, just as they are for Slot now...and he's already won a title, lest we forget.
