@ShadowFoxArche I'll say this again. Xbox, ABSOLUTELY. They have been basically using game key cards for years. But most Sony games are all on disc. But have to be downloaded from the disc to the console. Which is not the same as a game key card

Odd how Nintendo is blamed for a 3rd party publisher that chose code in box for physical, when it’s a publishing option not only used for Switch 1, but for every platform for the last three console gens barring Wii U.

I bought the physical copy. Did my due diligence to make sure it was the physical copy. Waited patiently for the past month...and i get this in the mail. @NintendoAmerica i am beyond disappointed in you. I did what I was supposed todo and I still get shafted. Make this right.

@trashmangamer @Gure_Shimo @THawkMedia Hardly any company does this. It's usually smaller titles like indie games that will bring out complete editions and even then it's very rare. It's not limited to being a Nintendo thing it's the entire gaming landscape.

Nintendo does NOT do this. There never is a MK or Smash with all patches and dlc on a cart.
It's one of the biggest things that sucks about collecting for Nintendo.

@Gure_Shimo @THawkMedia That's not happening. MK8 was an outlier because it didn't sell as well as it could on the Wii U so they brought it to the Switch as a Deluxe version same with Smash. MK World is staying on the Switch 2 so it will only have one version most likely.

@THawkMedia I wouldn't recommend getting it if you are a physical collector. The game hade big changes after release. I'd wait for a definitive/deluxe edition.
