@Halo_Chief_Coll Sounds like tribal, internet circle shit, which is exactly the point of the post. In reality people owned and bought 3DS/Wii U games because the wanted that experience portably/at home respectively. Releases like this were the entire point anyway much like PSP was to PS3.

@ShadowFoxArche The fact that they didnt got released on the same platform wasnt really the point, 2 and U both came out with only months between each others, and while they are both great games at the time it was tiring for many people

Irony because the zeitgeist at the time was that Nintendo was releasing too many of them too soon, despite none of them existing on the same platform at any one time…🤔

@ShadowFoxArche Tbf i just bought u deluxe, out wii on my steamdeck (i own it physically and a wii), and then got the DS and 3DS titles on my 3ds. But it did seem like they were coming out every year when i was a kid. XD but the fact that there were only 4 of them is wild

This is just an asinine take. So NES to SNES? Same system! Ps 1 through 5? Same system. Give me a break. Switch 2 is literally 4x the cpu processing of switch and 10x the GPU performance. It also has 3x the amount of total ram with a 4x better bus speed. Plus it has faster and more internal storage. A pro model? lol. Compare this to a PS5 pro, that only had a 45% increase to the rendering. Or a new 3DS, which was about 3x as powerful as a 3DS, This is a full new generation device. Trying to call it a pro is extremely disingenuous. A pro would not be close to this much of an increase.

@PkMOfTheDay It’s not even the fastest-selling franchise Capcom has released recently (Monster Hunter). And you’re confusing total sales of Pokemon with fastest, and the fact that it’s a SINGLE SKU. This is the FIRST single SKU game from the franchise to sell this fast.

@Spoogymonkey Nope, because as a multiplatform game, RE9 is NOT setting sales records because plenty of games with 5+ SKUs have sold that well in the past. Not too many single SKU exclusives have done what Pokopia has done.

@PkMOfTheDay It’s not setting sales records for a game on 5+ SKUs- that’s COD/Madden/2K. There’s no narrative here- selling over 4 million that quick on one platform is largely unprecedented on Nintendo platforms, not even mentioning how rare it is as an exclusive on another console.
