Inspector Josh Griffiths from North Liverpool Proactive Team said: “This was a smart, proactive piece of police work and our extensive enquiries will continue while the two men remain on bail. “Removing firearms, ammunition and drugs from our communities is vital in making the streets safer. Key to such positive results are not only through proactive policing operations, but information from those communities blighted by serious and organised crime. The more information about the storage and supply of drugs and weapons, the more we can ensure immediate action is taken. Tell us what you know and we will do the rest.” Info on drugs and firearms where you are? Contact Merseyside Police social media desk via X or Facebook @MerPolCC.
