Good evening, due to a spillage we have implemented lane closures on the eastbound carriageway of Edge Lane and Edge Lane Drive in Old Swan, we are working with our partner agencies to clear this spillage however there will be a delay in travel time until further notice.

***Further update: Both sides of East Lancashire Road have now been fully re-opened***

***Update: The Manchester bound carriageway is now open. Liverpool bound remains closed***
