Water security is one of the top issues I’ve heard in McLennan County, while on the campaign trail, and the Flat Creek Water Reuse Project will go a long way to meeting the needs of residents.

Today, a court stopped EPIC City’s latest attempt to organize a community.
When we uncovered legal violations by EPIC City, the developers tried to rebrand it as “The Meadow.”
At my direction, @TCEQ investigated & caught them illegally trying to take over a municipal utility district for The Meadow.
Today’s court order stops them in their tracks.
We will not rest in the mission to stop the spread of radical Islam.

For the first time in the ODNI Annual Threat Assessment, Director of National Intelligence @TulsiGabbard identified Islamist Ideology and Sharia law as a fundamental threat to the United States and Western civilization, with the ultimate aim of establishing an Islamist caliphate under Sharia law.
Last year, I supported legislation passed by the Texas Legislature to ban foreign adversaries of the United States, including groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR, from owning property in Texas.
As a Conservative, a Christian, and a Texan, I will always stand for the rule of law, the Constitution, and Texas families. I will oppose any attempt to give this dangerous ideology a foothold in the State of Texas.

My prayers are with the family of retired @TxDPS Trooper Daniel Shown. He faced incredible challenges with courage and faith, and he never stopped serving his community. Trooper Shown represented the very best of @TxDPS and even after his injury, he continued encouraging and inspiring the next generation of DPS Troopers. His legacy of service will not be forgotten!

Today, hundreds gathered at Church of the Open Door in Waco to honor retired Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol Trooper Daniel Shown, who passed away from complications related to a line-of-duty injury sustained in 1988. Though his life was forever changed that day, Trooper Shown never stopped serving others—spending years encouraging and inspiring the next generation of DPS Troopers. His courage, resilience and commitment to service will never be forgotten.

💥BUSTED: DPS seizes OVER 500 POUNDS of drugs in Central Texas💥 Around 2:30 this morning, a Waco District DPS Trooper stopped a vehicle for several traffic violations along IH-35. During the stop, DPS K-9 Karma was deployed and positively alerted to the vehicle. The Trooper discovered approximately 480 pounds of methamphetamine and 40 pounds of black tar heroin. This is just one example of how DPS Troopers and their K-9 partners are keeping dangerous drugs out of Texas communities every day.
