@github If we have to move to usage costs, what are the multipliers for? Are the usage multipliers on top of the usage costs e.g. Opus 4.7 is $25 x 27 per million tokens out?

@nathanbarry Having said this, I’ve learned a lot more technical things explained for beginners, from AI produced blog posts recently, that I never knew existed. Clever people rarely talk down to beginners.

One problem with AI is that you can now write long, thoughtful memos without doing any thinking. Amazon's famous memos were great because it meant the author really thought through the problem. Now people just spit them out from AI and they sound smart, but lack rigor.

4 months later another power outage in 🇵🇹 Portugal! A few days ago also lots of power outages Luckily just in time we now installed 2x @Tesla Powerwall (27kW) and lots of solar panels We're in Japan so didn't notice it but friends are without power now The guy installing predicted new outages very soon and said the grid is systemically unable to deal with all the solar being produced and pumped back into it, the irony he installs solar 😂👌 We have the Off Grid license so we just disconnect and keep going, all the freezers, fridges, stove, and most of the house (except sauna and pool) keeps running on batteries Especially important: the @starlink and @Ubiquiti router stays online so we keep having internet! During the BIG outage this year the worst was that 4G stopped working within hours and you can't communicate with anyone anymore Depending how long we wanna go we can disconnect stuff to use less energy and with enough sun theoretically we could stay online forever! The future is off grid ❤️ 🔋 ☀️

@dhh I thought you were based on a 2024 podcast. Google AI mode’s interpretation of you going all in with Omarchy mistakenly extends to servers.

@DazedConfuddled We are on Ubuntu for servers. Not sure rolling-release makes sense for servers when you need an entire fleet on exactly the same setup.

@dhh Is 37signals moving to Omarchy for your production servers as well as the desktop? If not, what are you using for your production distribution?

I watched the overview of Omarchy 2.0 by @dhh, and I'm blown away. I could never have imagined that Linux could be so fast, accessible, and gorgeous. This demo makes me really want to drop everything and just play with a new OS like a kid who just got a new toy. On a separate note, it's impressive that I trust the vision of a single person behind this project to deliver more than huge and successful companies like Apple and Microsoft to actually improve their products. I don't know how to explain this.

@GameMakerEngine I've spent days trying to figure out how to determine what the crashes and ANR issues are to no avail. Some kind of guide / tutorial would be very useful please.

@GameMakerEngine really struggling with huge surge in obfuscated crash logs on Google Play after a upgrading to SDK 35. How on earth can we diagnose issues when native symbols are stripped by your abstracted build process?
