@Liandrium Yeah, unfortunately, you do the best that you can but eventually it’s just gonna drop

@DebbieDPrincess Well the battery degrades anyway, no matter what your charging habits are. If you charge it to 80% it means device lasts less time and has to be charged more often. This is unnecessary stress when iPhone runs out of battery, so does seeing your battery health drop.

Using my iPhone 17 Pro since September and charge it to 95-100%. No up to 80% bullshit to save the battery. Still at 100% battery health after more than half a year.

@Liandrium I mean it does die faster but this is my iPhone 16 I wanna keep it to 100 but I feel like if I do a lot then it’s just gonna degrade the battery faster

@DebbieDPrincess Charging up to 80% saves your battery and allows using your iPhone for way longer. I just decided not to limit myself

it’s been over 6 months and 200 cycles since i got my iPhone 17 Pro and it’s still at 100% battery health lol this is pretty wild, especially when you consider the fact that i’ve only ever used MagSafe to charge it 👀
