@librarianbe @morganmoller Das enkel een fout in de geconsolideerde wetgeving. Niet de officiële wetgeving dus. Wel belachelijk dat die wetgeving nog steeds niet gestructureerd wordt ingegeven zodat de geconsolideerde versies automatisch gegenereerd kunnen worden ipv mensen die dat manueel overtypen 🤦

Ik heb het gehad met mensen die zeggen dat het Belgisch Staatsblad nutteloos is. Je vindt er alles : wetten, besluiten, recepten om te koken, noem maar op. Eerlijk : in mijn juridische carriere deze hilariteit nog niet vaak tegengekomen. 😁

@tperfitt Yeah NFC would be the way to go, but unfortunately, our national ID cards don't have NFC 😏

@Dev1an the only real universal interface i could find is the nfc interface. if the smart cards support nfc, you can communicate with them via the apple nfc apdu apis.

I have been working with CryptoTokenKit's persistent tokens on iOS 14.2 and something we have been hoping for for a long time on iOS. An app can vend a identity (private key + certificate) that can be consumed by other apps AND iOS itself.

@tperfitt OK thanks I will look into that. Do the feitian readers work with the Apple TKSmartCardSlotManager APIs or do they have proprietary APIs? Because I'd rather not lock my clients into one smart card reader vendor ;)

@Dev1an you have to get a sled like the feitian lightning or bluetooth reader.

@tperfitt Yes but even when the smartcard reader with usb adapter is not connected I get the "connecting to slot registration server failed" error. So I guessed it had nothing to do with the reader. Because on macOS I can get a slot manager even when no readers are connected.

@Dev1an are you using a usb adapter? never got those to work with smart cards.

@Dev1an what device are taking to? i send apdu via the nfc api's, feitian and yubikey libraries.
