I have a new profound respect for the shortcuts app.
I always forget to lock my car and desperately wanted to do something about it, so i worked on bluelocke.bydev.ai
It’s a script you can use with scriptable that unlocks a bunch of shortcuts & widgets. Then you can setup an automation and now every time i walk away from my vehicle, it lets me know in case i left it unlocked :)
This essentially unlocks the ability for about 10-12 million Hyundai, Kia & Genesis bluelink supported vehicles to have the walk away auto lock feature for free. In comparison, the hardware module you can buy costs about $300 & could void your warranty.
