@bensmithrugby According to @RugbyPass, Itoje only missed one tackle all game and completed 21 (second only to Conan on 24). He also made most turnovers of anyone.

The individual battle between Maro Itoje and Will Skelton was key for the Wallabies. Skelton was winning that skirmish. Itoje slipped off tackles on Skelton, conceded pens, and was generally rattled. Except Itoje played 80 against Skelton’s 47 mins. Once his nemisis was subbed, Itoje lifted and had a much better 2nd half. Skelton is Itoje’s kryptonite.

@RugbyInsideLine It's not a straight red - under the current laws those are for actions of outright thuggery (gouge, punch etc) or for actions that are always illegal. Given IFW attempts a wrap it's considered a technical offence hence the 20 min red

@rpetty80 hi Russ, barring late call ups I note that there were no survivors from 2013 in the squad announcement. Do you have any stats on the number of players who made it back 12 years later from their respective tours? Ie 2009 and 2021, 2005/2017 etc. Thanks!

Is LIV's format and overall (lack of) depth really a reason for loss of form in Majors, or is it more down to the individual? Curious to hear the thoughts of the Chippers. 2/2
