Not energy security. Not defense. Not economic stability. Racism. They want anti-racism taught in every school across the continent, embedded into AI regulation, and made a core pillar of EU foreign policy. NGOs will be funded to implement it... because we all know how well those work. Starting in 2028, member states deemed insufficiently committed can be locked out of EU funding entirely.
