We're about to hear the outcome of Mark Butler’s “unleashing the power of the medical workforce”review & I expect it will come out saying that any health professional who thinks they’re good enough can pop up their shingle & be a GP substitute. It’s happening already. Is this OK?

Strongly agree with @amapresident It's hard to see this as anything other than a play by States and Territories to cost shift Medicare money into their treasuries. It will make primary care more expensive and erode any benefit from rebate increases. It's a tax on patients.

Say no to the #sicktax. Still waiting to hear from @NSWLabor @nswliberalhq about their stance on #payrolltax for GPs. Their silence is telling: THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A PATIENT. they don’t care about how much it costs you.
