Drake better course correct before he even thinks about retirement because if this is how he plans to end his legacy, it’ll be a major disappointment and something people will remember for all the wrong reasons.

@DrakeDictate He hasnt made a GOOD "Drake" album since Views, he fell off musically years ago and you're right, he only does numbers NOW because of the hype and popularity he's built up over the years...doesnt mean he still drops the same quality music

Drake always had the numbers but those numbers were built on the quality, authenticity and hunger he showed earlier in his career. The hype around every Drake release still comes from the reputation he built during that era. If today’s version of Drake had been the version people were introduced to from the start, he likely never would’ve reached this level. That’s why numbers alone aren’t enough to prove the music is still great.

It’s been three weeks since Drake dropped ICEMAN and after letting it sit with multiple listens, I can honestly tell you that it is in fact not a classic album.

Can’t express enough how good it is to have a Drake album in 2026 that feels like it can stand with some of his best projects. I’m not saying it’s his best or anything, but this is one of his most entertaining and consistently thrilling albums
