The deal he had with UMG was a partnership, it’s a 360 styled partnership it’s not like your usual 360 but he likely negotiated higher revenue splits, and more creative control. He got upfront capital from this deal $500m because it’s a partnership. But they did have his publishing, merch, recordings and other things too. It’s a high end 360 deal I’ll say that but it’s still essentially a 360 deal style partnership.
