Because of Henrietta Lacks Because of the Tuskegee Study Because of experimental procedures on enslaved Black women Because of unnecessary procedures on women in ICE detention centers Because if you are Black or Hispanic & come to a hospital with a heart attack, you are more likely to experience a worse standard of care The reasons are endless.

Everything is still on fire. Despite your best efforts. In addition to living, it is clear, that fire or not, you must level up in what it means to thrive. Right now, that means wrestling with the truth in the fact that everything is not all your fault.
