Keir Starmer actually put this in a briefing to Labour MPs of 'useful questions to ask' today. The PM knew of Mandelson's relationship Epstein when he appointed him.
And yet thinks he can still exploit the grief of the victims. This is why he is not fit to be Prime Minister.

It really is time the House of Commons moved into the 21st Century and got rid of this outdated ruling of not calling an MP a Liar - they give themselves the title of "Right Honourable" when they prove every day they are anything but honourable & Hoyle demonstrated misogyny and racism as when Lee Anderson called Starmer a liar he was given the opportunity to withdraw his words @zarahsultana was given no such opportunity.

Just pointing out that I broke the story 7 months ago that Mandelson failed vetting from the security services and put it to Downing Street...so the idea that Downing Street only found out on Tuesday is complete nonsense.

Will Starmer lead Labour into the next GE? It seems absurd to even ask the Q, but KS isn't naturally of the Labour right & doesn't have a political base in Labour - instead he's been used by the right of the party (and willingly so), and when they decide he needs to go, hes gone.

Labour MPs are now being told to quote an Epstein survivor to help protect the Prime Minister.
The same Prime Minister who knew Mandelson had maintained a friendship with Epstein when he appointed him.

Westminster bubble might dismiss this as “clip farming” or “student politics”- but the fact is - when the media class were heralding Mandelson’s appointment as “shrewd”, “genius” or “bold” etc. - Zarah was calling out the Epstein connection…

I remember when Robert Webb had to actually talk to the parent of a trans child on the radio and acted like a total coward because he couldn't really defend his position, then went back to being a bigoted ghoul afterwards.
