@SoulRevision A lot of us tried this with the last few No Kings protests and it didn't go well. The attendees are uninterested in anything beyond a silly sign contest.

Yes the ‘No Kings’ rallies are problematic
But if you are an organizer and that rally is where working class folks are showing up in mass, it’s far more strategic to leverage their turnouts to organize as many people as you can than it is to critique it all day long.

You might be able to convince me No Kings was a worthwhile use of time if they had any goals beyond "we should all vote really hard in November."
Credit to anyone who goes and tries to make it something more useful than that but that just seems hard to do at this point.
