You are talking about a people that built wealth out of £20 that was given to each family. How would you conclude that such a people do not have the intelligence, strategy, training, resources etc. to have built a competitive military force.
PATRIOTIC SOJA ($TSIR-MUNCHAN)@Pressman2040

I respect your right to imagine. But I will give you my honest answer as a soldier who serves under the same flag that defeated that rebellion. War is not won by imagination. It is won by logistics, strategy, and the will of a people to remain one. The Biafran engineers were brilliant, no doubt. They built what they could with what they had. But brilliance alone does not build a world power. Sustainability does. And after three years, the enclave was starving, surrounded, and out of options. You ask me to imagine a sovereign Biafra. I will ask you to imagine a Nigeria where every region stays, builds, and contributes. What we have achieved together as messy, frustrating, and painful as it is far outweighs what any secessionist state could have built alone. I did not take an oath to a tribe, religion or a region. I took an oath to the 🇳🇬 Federal Republic of Nigeria. That flag covers every square inch of this country, from the creeks of the South-South to the sands of the North-East. And while I wear this uniform, I will defend that unity. We can argue about marginalisation. We can debate restructuring. But wishful thinking about a defeated state from 55 years ago does not help the Nigerian who is struggling today. Build Nigeria, not fantasies of what could have been. 🇳🇬

While your nationwide consultation is good, @PeterObi, it is bad to portray your campaign for Nigeria's presidency as an ethnic project. The people you bring to all your consultations are solely Igbos, with no diversity consideration, and this clearly sends the wrong message. I thought you learned this consultation strategy from your boss, @atiku the unifier, but it seems you haven't learned much, unfortunately. You have not shown that you can unify this country. Small optics like this create an ominous impression among the people whose endorsement you are seeking. Ask @TheSerahIbrahim, whose political understanding I am beginning to admire greatly to guide you. You can't be seeking support from people in other parts of the country when your team is only made up of Igbo men. Are you running an Igbo project or a national project? That’s why @ShehuSani accused you of running a tribal project. I don't know who is giving you political advice, but they are doing a poor job that will hurt you unless you run to another party for a free ticket hunting, which has become your trademark.

My ongoing nationwide consultations with notable South East leaders ahead of the 2027 general election continued on Tuesday April 28, 2026. We visited Governor @seyimakinde of Oyo State in Ibadan. Our meeting provided an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on critical issues concerning our nation, the direction of our democracy, and the urgent need to build a united, more inclusive, secure, and economically viable Nigeria. We exchanged views on governance, development priorities, and the role of responsible leadership in this crucial period of our national journey. The consultations remain essential as we continue to listen, reflect, and work collectively towards a better future for all Nigerians. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Setting sentiments and emotions aside, that gun could have been used on you or your loved ones if the police hadn’t intercepted it. The officer may have been wrong to open fire, but as far as I’m concerned, anyone caught with a gun unlawfully does not deserve to see the next day.

If, as a Governor in Nigeria, you ever drove Northerners or Southerners out of your state or forced them to wear identity tags as if they were foreigners, you have no business contesting for the Nigerian presidency. A tribalist should focus on becoming a leader within his own tribe or region, rather than seeking to lead a diverse nation like Nigeria that encompasses various ethnic groups and religions.

Any support for Peter Obi’s presidential ambition is an endorsement of Igbo ethnic agendas, Biafra, IPOB, NK, & secessionist plans, for which they would always fail. Nigeria cannot have someone whose supporters daily hate and disparage it as its president Take this as a warning

Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi share a common trait: political cowardice. Tinubu avoids facing Atiku Abubakar in a general election, while Obi shrinks from challenging him in the ADC primaries. Atiku remains the true Odogwu of Nigerian politics.

It is better to be a VP than to be the "best president Nigeria would have ever had" It's better to be in govt and push for those ideas as VP than doing little charities here & there with personal funds that can't go round It's better to be VP than to be a social media president

DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE EFFURUN SHOOTING INCIDENT: DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND ARRESTS, TRANSFERS OFFICER RESPONSIBLE TO FORCE HEADQUARTERS TO FACE DISCIPLINARY ACTION As CP condoles with family, friends and concerned members of the public, and assures them of justice The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, has condemned in strong terms the extra-judicial killing of a suspect, one Mene Ogidi, aged 28 years, which occurred on 26th April 2026 in Effurun, Delta State. The unfortunate incident occurred when operatives attached to Area Command Effurun received credible intelligence from members of the public regarding the deceased, who was reportedly apprehended while attempting to waybill a parcel containing a Beretta pistol with four rounds of ammunition. Upon receipt of the report, the Commissioner of Police directed the Area Commander, Effurun, to immediately arrest ASP Nuhu Usman and transfer him to the State Headquarters, Asaba, for necessary disciplinary action. The officer has since been queried and transferred to Force Headquarters, Abuja, where he will appear before the Force Disciplinary Committee, currently in session, for immediate disciplinary sanction and prosecution. The Command, in line with the policy of the Nigeria Police Force, emphasizes respect for the rule of law, human rights, professionalism, accountability and public trust. The Command further reaffirms its zero tolerance for lawlessness, recklessness and extra-judicial conduct. The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, psc, acipm, mnips, extends his sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, Mene Ogidi, and assures the bereaved family that the Command is fully committed to ensuring that justice is served. Check everyone moving with Peter Obi for political consultations, they are all ibos. And that is bad optics for someone who is aspiring to be the president of the most heterogeneous country like Nigeria. This is a bad signal and it alludes with the concerns and the fears of other geopolitical forces and ethnic groups. Back in 2022, Tinubu’s consultation team consisted of representatives from all regions.
