Alex Otti has successfully negotiated to take away Umuahia and the remaining LGAs so that they can equally be connected with the rest of Abia already in the Geometric Network while expanding the generating capacity of GPal and Aba Power. Nobody in Aba and the 8 other LGAs currently enjoying stable power is complaining about the cost because there’s been aggressive mass metering. You pay for what you consume. The state is currently in the process of paying off EEDC so that the entire state will be taken off the National grid (which EEDC is part of) that bills so much while providing little power.
