Hello 2026!
It's been some time since I have been on here, to be honest I needed the break! But I'm still here, still in F1 and still creating and causing mischief everywhere I go.
Now I cant promise I'll post much, but goes anyone give a toss if I'm here or not?

Jon, your mast sentence proves my point. If he was patient and clean, he'd have been past Norris soon after. But the aggressive, arrogant style in which he conducts himself on track is not a good look nor a role model for youngsters watching on who will likely think it's normal.

@CoertGil5 @F1PaddockPass Both drivers were getting pretty desperate in different ways - Max 100% deserved the pen but another day they bang wheels and carry on. Have to say that if Max was behind, he would have been past in 1 lap.

Pete Windsor stopped being relevant in F1 years ago. If his opinions were that highly prized, he'd be in the Paddock - not fronting a You Tube channel sprouting crock in a vain attempt to attract attention.
Let's see if he disagrees with that.

Max Verstappen can win races, break records, and win as many championships as he likes - but if he continues to drive in a dirty, disrespectful and dangerous manner as he did in Austria, that's all he'll be remembered for.
I try to like the guy, but bugger me, he makes it hard.

On the plus side, we avoid Pouty Max for the next two seasons.

Shame for Lawson though. He's a solid prospect. He just needs to exit the Red Bull clutches and prove his worth.

Team Max would not want anyone to threaten their status as Numero Uno. And by Team Max, I mean Jos.
Signing Perez works for them. He knows his place, does what he's told (mostly) and plays the role to perfection.
Simply put, Perez isn't a threat.

Lots of people asking why Sergio was retained when there is plenty of available talent out there, such as Liam Lawson.

After weeks of speculation, it's finally confirmed that Adrian Newey is to leave Red Bull. Plenty to unpack about it all and too much to list here, but RBR won't suffer as much as you think... If Max were to leave too, then the deck of cards would tumble IMHO.

A leased shed does not an F1 team make. I'd say this makes an entry even less likely. Support from other teams needs to be canvassed privately to remove objections. Inevitable dilution of commercial value needs a compelling narrative. A real risk of being the new USF1 #Andretti

Worth noting that Andretti already have a deal in place with Renault to use their PU for the first two seasons, before switching to GM. If Renault want to sell, it appears they could have a willing buyer in Andretti.
Watch this space.

Not too far from Alpine at Enstone, which - if rumours are to be believed - is soon to be on sale via Renault, could prove to be a handy little base of operation.
Unless they buy Aston.

Rumours are swirling that Renault are considering offers for the Team - with the caveat that you must take a Renault PU. If I was Andretti, I'd be on a plane over to Enstone with a checkbook and a Caddy badge to stick on the Renault PU. Done.

Firing half of your management team is probably not the solution either. I'm all for change, but make sure the people you have coming in to replace those you fired actually have talent and skills, otherwise... see Alpine.

Alpine? What a mess. Pairing Ocon & Gasly was always going to be tricky - but when you give them a car that is practically undriveable, it's only going to make them overdrive it (and clatter into things) in an attempt to showcase their talent and be picked up by someone else.
