Quantum computing doesn’t scare me and shouldn’t scare anyone. What does scare me is the inability to defend against it or the lack of willpower to methodically plan for and create deterrents against it. Until we see Bitcoin wallets with massive amounts being hacked and drained, this is effectively just FUD. That being said, if nobody wants to listen to the “canary in the coal mine”, that’s way worse of a response and attitude to have.
