@uvw_Venkatesh @tedielts Had visited is the past perfect which we only tend to use if there’s another verb in the sentence in the past simple e.g. She had visited her grandmother before we met up. As there’s no other verb in the example sentence, A is the correct answer. Does this help?

@magdy7788 Grammatically, ‘absolutely trembling’ is correct. However, it’s much more common to say ‘positively trembling’; hence, ‘positively trembling’ is the collocation. Does this help?
