Fire Lieutenant Allegedly Beat Patient Inside Rescue Vehicle😡The firefighters who witnessed the incident reported it. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue lieutenant Carlos Lewin was arrested on battery charges involving a patient who he allegedly beat inside a rescue vehicle. The 65-year-old male patient was in a wheelchair when crews arrived and was later transferred to a stretcher for evaluation. During that time, Lewin and the patient began arguing. Lewin instructed two firefighters to move the patient into a rescue truck, which does not have cameras. Where he allegedly attacked a patient, slamming his head and pressing into his eyes.

Police Broke Down Door in Mistaken Identity Case in Baton Rouge Officers asked for Brooks’ name. He refused to answer and asked them to get off his property. The video shows officers following him, kicking open his door, and detaining him. Shortly after, the officers put Brooks in handcuffs. He said he then told officers his name, and that is when they realized they had the wrong person. “What took place was, you were mistaken for someone else. We got a call that said the person that we were looking for was at this house, and when they pulled up, you looked just like that person,” another officer said.
