The coalition doesn’t hate corruption, they just wish President Tinubu out of office. Tell me why any sane person will want Malami to ever come back to power after all the corruption under his leadership as AGF - Massive Asset Accumulation & Money Laundering: Malami is currently standing trial on money-laundering charges. The EFCC secured an interim forfeiture of 57 properties linked to him and his sons . He has declared an income of over N374 million in salary and N958 million in "traditional gifts" . ·- Allegations of Large-Scale Theft: Convicted former pension reform chairman Abdulrasheed Maina alleged that Malami was involved in "monumental theft" and that the N270 billion reportedly linked to him is "not even one quarter" of what was allegedly misappropriated -Terrorism Financing: Reports indicate Malami is being held by the DSS over a separate allegation of financing terrorism -OPL 245/Malabu Scandal: A leaked 2017 memo showed Malami advised President Buhari to drop corruption charges against Mohammed Adoke and Dan Etete regarding the $1.1 billion Malabu oil deal, declaring they did "no wrong

Let’s talk about the 7-7-7 rule of parenting. I know that some of you might have heard of it before. But what I want to share with you are rare tips that you cannot find in your regular blogs. Why the 7-7-7 Rule in the first place? We are all exhausted. I see it in my DMs every day. We are fighting battles in our homes that we should not even be in because we try to use the same heavy hand for every age. The truth is, you cannot use the same logic for a toddler that you use for a teenager. When you use the wrong tool at the wrong time, you do not just fail to teach the child. You break the relationship between you and the child. The 7-7-7 rule is the solution to this constant friction. This rule was first echoed by Ali ibn Abi Talib (May The Almighty be pleased with him). He said: Play with them for seven years, Discipline them for seven years, and then Befriend them for seven years. It sounds easy, but most of us do it in the wrong order. We are too serious with the toddlers and then we try to be the boss when they are already teenagers. (1) The 0 to 7 Years Stage. This is the stage to build the love tank. Imam Al-Ghazali said in Ihya, that a child's heart is a precious jewel that is blank and ready for any carving. In these years, you should play more than you lecture. One rare tip that you can adopt going forward is Overhead Praise. Direct praise is good, but overhead praise is gold. Instead of telling them they are good, tell your spouse or a friend about their good deed while the child is in the room. When they hear you brag about their kindness when they think you aren't looking, it builds a deep confidence. Action Tip: Find one small thing they did well today and mention it to someone else while they are nearby. Make sure they can hear you. Be intentional and consistent about it. (2) The 7 to 14 Years Stage. This is the time for character and boundaries. The scholar Ibn al-Jawzi in Sayd al-Khatir, warned us about forcing a narrow vessel to hold too much. Remember I talked about Taghaful (Strategic Ignorance) yesterday. This is the right age to use it. It means you see the mistake, but you choose to look away. If you correct every single thing they do wrong, they will develop a hearing block against your voice by age ten. You have to save your corrections for the things that matter. Action Tip: Start today by adopting the 70/30 rule. Ignore 70% of the small irritations, maybe it is a messy desk or a slow response. Save your energy for the 30% that actually involves character or safety. Only speak up for the big boundaries. You are building authority by not wasting it on small irritations. Pay attention to their demeanor and be consistent. (3) The 14 to 21 Years Stage. In this stage, the "boss" version of you must die so the "consultant" version can be born. The scholar Ibn Miskawayh in Tahdhib al-Akhlaq, wrote about the refinement of the soul as a process that requires respect. If you keep using force, they will just learn to hide their life from you. Action Tip: Your job now is to protect their Sirr (Sacred Secrecy). If they tell you something heavy, misdeed or embarrassing, keep it between you. Do not share it with the extended family. To keep them close, you must be a safe vault. This week, try to listen to them for twenty minutes without giving a single piece of advice. Just listen so they know you are a friend they can trust with their future. In all, the 7-7-7 rule is about realizing that you are a gardener. You don't make the plant grow. You just provide the right environment for it to reach its own opening (Fath). As a parent, which stage are you currently navigating? Let’s discuss in the comments👏🏿👏🏿

ONE LEADERSHIP SKILL I LOVE MOST ABOUT TINUBU? You just come to him. He gives you a warm welcome. Whether you're a billionaire or a market wøman. He cracks small jokes and asks you again, "hauw are you?" Then he puts his arm on the armrest and goes silent. He will listen and listen and listen. Until you're done. No interruptions. He fixes his eyes on you as you talk. While you talk his strategic mind pictures what you're saying. It doesn't matter what ideas you're selling to him. Even if you're talking about AI, he's following developments in that area. He knows what you're saying. When you're done, he tells you what is possible and what's not. In honesty. Not like the politicians who will tell you "meet my PA or my secretary" And that's his strategy for sending you away. Jagaban is a leader. Hate him of love him, Jagaban has integrity. This individual is a remarkable journalist who consistently speaks the truth. @ADCVanguard_ seems to have made a poor choice. I feel sympathy for @raufaregbesola, an experienced politician with a commendable track record in Osun, and I commend him for that. However, he is now undermining himself by aligning with the unsuccessful David Mark. I've warned you all that David Mark will not achieve success in this country due to his past actions against my brother, whom he unjustly dismissed from NITEL. My brother is a very honest man who does not accept bribes. Do you remember the name Engineer Sugun Akerele, David Mark? @ADCVanguard_ is destined to fail.

“If I become President a lot of people will not be happy with me. I am not selling ice cream, my job is not to make people happy.” He talks like he just arrived yesterday, forgetting he governed a state for 8 solid years. The same funds that could have built industries, created jobs, and transformed lives were left sitting idle in banks. Now he wants to rewrite the story.

@FaventM @akerele_s @AkinwunmiAmbode @officialABAT Nobody born of woman would ever think Fashola would perform excellently as governor, let Hamzat try his best and leave Ambode to enjoy his stay at home. Afterall, he was embittered with party faithfuls, played politics of vengeance and mostly delivered substandard projects.

I want our party to keep in mind that the outcome of the general election will not be decided solely by party members; citizens will also play a role in this process. @AkinwunmiAmbode continues to be the most preferred candidate for Lagos State. President @officialABAT, sir. What am hearing is that another Muslim ticket. We shouldn't jeopardize our opportunity we should learn from 2023. Peace. @OfficialAPCNg @STinubu @SenRemiTinubu

Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Represents Continuity and Capacity in the Future of Lagos State As conversations about the future leadership of Lagos State gradually emerge, one name continues to resonate within political and civic spaces; Kadri Obafemi Hamzat. Serving as the Deputy Governor under Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat stands at a unique intersection of experience, preparation, and national relevance, qualities that reflect not just political ambition, but a commitment to public service and nation-building. Lagos State, often described as the economic heartbeat of Nigeria, demands leadership that combines vision with proven capacity. Hamzat’s journey through governance highlights this balance. Having served as Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, he contributed significantly to the state’s urban transformation, helping to drive projects that support mobility, economic growth, and sustainable development. His work reflects the broader Nigerian aspiration for modern infrastructure and efficient public systems. Beyond public office, Hamzat’s professional experience tells an important story about the value of knowledge exchange between Nigeria and the global community. His engagements with institutions such as Columbia University, Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley exposed him to international best practices in finance, engineering systems, and organizational strategy. These experiences underscore a key lesson for national development: global exposure, when combined with local commitment, can strengthen governance at home. Upon returning to Nigeria, Hamzat applied this knowledge within the private sector, notably at Oando Plc, where he served as Chief Information Officer and led IT strategy. His career trajectory illustrates the importance of building local capacity and investing in indigenous expertise, an essential pillar for Nigeria’s long-term growth. Politically, Hamzat’s alignment with the All Progressives Congress reflects another reality of democratic systems; strong institutions and party structures play a vital role in leadership selection and policy continuity. His reputation for loyalty, discipline, and consistency reinforces the value of stability in governance, particularly in a state as complex and dynamic as Lagos. Equally noteworthy is his leadership style. Known for a calm, analytical, and technocratic approach, Hamzat represents a model of leadership that prioritizes competence over rhetoric. For young Nigerians and aspiring public servants, his example offers an educational insight: effective governance is built not only on popularity, but on preparation, integrity, and a deep understanding of policy. The discussion around Hamzat is not just about succession, it is about the kind of leadership that can sustain progress while inspiring confidence in the future. As Lagos State continues to carry the responsibility of leading progress in Nigeria, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat reflects the qualities of continuity, innovation, and service to the people that remain central to that mission.

Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, narrating how Governor Tinubu headhunted him from Morgan Stanley in the US, illustrates how Lagos has been deliberate about the quality of minds that contribute to its continuous growth & development. There are lessons here for those who will learn.

I like Dr. Obafemi Hamzat's civility, patience, and mature mind. Despite his long-standing ambition, he never disrespected Governor Sanwoolu—a very rare occurrence in our political ecosystem. I’m happy for him. He will succeeds.
