It’s unforgivable that @AberdeenCC has NEVER, in earnest, investigated implementing school streets, even a trial. As proved elsewhere, these can be game-changing on so many fronts. Let’s hope that next week the first steps will be taken to put our children BEFORE motor vehicles

Formartine @ Buchan Way, 50mi of non traffic safe active paths between ABZ & Fraserburgh. @GCP_JustGoRide @ride_the_north @abdnshcyc it’s already mind blowing just because it exists, but imagine some money spent on it. Lovely way to traverse the Grampian farming belt ❤️

Some v. small steps taken already @Aberdeenshire @SustransScot but there’s clearly still so much needing addressed eg surfacing upgrades, drainage fixes, vegetation clearance, removing barriers preventing the wonderful resource from being truly inclusive & accessible for all
