At the High Court on Tuesday, 20 January, Liridon Kastrati was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment using a chainsaw in the attempted murder of police officers.

The Chief highlighted that more than 3,500 drink and drug driving tests were carried out by officers during the festive enforcement campaign. There were 398 offences detected for drug driving - higher than the 319 offences detected for drink driving.
