It’s genuinely DISGUSTING how “some” men & woman choose to conduct themselves around golf clubs,the speaking down to staff,the demands on what they feel should be sold and at what prices just to scratch the surface…. honestly,they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves 👊👊

We had a member insist we sold his email address to Tesco the day BRS went in just after Covid,six letters in he remembered he’d moved his car insurance to them and wrote a letter of apology to me personally

@secretclubprov You need a medal I hated being a club pro I wish I’d never done it and got myself a proper job tbh where you can earn a decent living and save for your retirement instead of people boycotting my shop when I put mars bars up from 30p to 50p and water up from 80p to £1. Pathetic

Members that make the effort to voice opinions at the golf club, on subjects or matters they know virtually nothing about, is one of the most frustrating elements for people who are employed paid and “more” than qualified to actually run the golf club.

I really don’t get it. The only explanation is to replace either a winger who’s leaving this week, which would be Diaz & a bad mistake. The other would be Salah, next summer. But I’m not sure I see the logic in replacing a player who’s never injured with one who regularly is.

Simon Hooper awarded a penalty. VAR decided Hooper made an obviously error and advised him to look at the screen. Hooper looked at the BLANK screen for 30 seconds then mysteriously agreed with VAR and overturned his decision. Make it make sense 🤔

@timkeyperson wonderfully bizarre hour of prose and brilliantly selected subject matter, real laugh out loud stuff, cultural references really made people belly laugh, warm room but made all the warmer by his welcoming demeanour, sold out for the run and rightfully so

@LarryDeanComedy Dodger: a great hour of comedy, fast paced and covering numerous different topics with comedic timing that’s on point, his stories about his gran and his own diagnoses were brilliantly executed, well worth a watch if your at the fringe

@Thephilellis Funz an Gamez, what can I say, I wish I’d seen the 2014 iterations of this show, as well as this, comedic brilliance personified, lucky to catch this second time around, great cameos from other comedians some audience members bewildered, but also laughing hard

@BrennanReece Me Me Me : great new hour from one of the north west best comedians, introspective and funny, sometimes dark, but also plenty of light, great double act with the lady from Yorkshire, dealt with her in brilliant fashion, well worth a watch
