😱: Leader of Labour in Scotland Anas Sarwar asks a female photographer “did you get my stroke pose?” “What!?” He laughs and doubles down: “a picture I saw online, it looked like I was having a stroke.” Anas Sarwar must apologise! Not acceptable for a party leader.
Kumail Nanjiani, raised Muslim, gets up on that Oscar stage last night, cracks two harmless little jokes about shortening movies. “It’s A Wonderful Life” becomes “It’s A Wonderful Month,” “The King’s Speech” turns into “The King’s Tweet.” Cute, right? Everyone chuckles. Then he slides in the third: “Schindler’s List” to “Schindler’s Post-It.” See what he did? The first two were just fluff…safe, silly, no harm. They were the warm-up act, the cover. Made the room feel cozy so he could drop the real bomb without anyone flinching too hard. Because once you’re laughing at a jester’s joke, why not laugh at six million dead Jews reduced to office supplies? He could have said “Gone With the Wind” to “Gone With the Breeze!” But that wasn’t in his agenda. That was a calculated jab at Jewish pain. It’s vile. They’ve done this forever…hide the knife behind a smile…and they’ll keep doing it. Jew-hating monsters in nice suits (Mamdani). I call it like I see it! @TheAcademy @kumailn
