A confounding variable in early-season bat speed could be temperature. Here are a couple of regressions I ran between average bat speed and temperature using the open-meteo API and stadium coordinates. All domes are set at 72.5 degrees. Seems to be significant.

I watched four episodes of the Neil Patrick Harris adaptation, and it’s the strangest adaptation of Spider-Man I’ve ever seen.

@HiTopFilms Despite all my gripes with his character, Dane DeHaan killed this scene. I still get chills hearing the way he says “bleed.”

Here is an example of a scene that, to me, hits far better with a toned down score. I don't even mind the Zimmer most of the time, but Dane's performance is completely undercut by it.

Mordecai and Rigby had a complicated friendship at times, but the more you watch this show you realize the dichotomy between Mordecai appearing to be the more competent friend and his inability to take responsibility for his stagnant life. This show hits different as a YA.

Pete Crow-Armstrong is swinging 3 mph faster (76 mph). Did he have a similar bat speed stretch last year? Yes, he started last season swinging just as fast. He normally ranged between 71-74 mph (average ~72 mph). It'll be interesting to see if he raises that range.
