Definitely need to see odyssey again. enjoyed it but was so overstimulated by the fast cuts and scale that I smoked a couple cigs after and still didn’t understand how I felt emotionally.

@HiTopFilms What I love about this is how it encapsulates Grieg Fraser's style that Matt Reeves described as "dirtying up the frame" to make it more engaging and immersive rather than some ultra clean pretty image. THIS is way interesting and inventive. Love it.

The Batman II has been delayed until 2028 - from October 2027 to February 2028. Fans are frustrated and question who is to blame (Reeves or Gunn) because of the amount of time it has taken to finish the script, start shooting, and now the release has been pushed back further.

Our goal with Batman was to cast an actor who you would never need (even if you want) to see out of mask, because every frame and moment would elicit “fuck, that’s the goddamn Batman.” You’ll have to tell me when you see the movie if we nailed that.

For those asking when... I don't want to give a date, everytime I do, a really terrible thing happens (like the Parker luck) that delays/disappoints everyone, but... 1. Soon, this year most likely and finally. 2. Close to 2hrs and will break your heart. 3. Every frame is a representation of 6 idiot teens who started trying to tell a story when they were 19.

For those worried, it's not a spoiler, it happens within the first 2 minutes (of almost 2 hours). The reason we cut it down/out is because Batman, especially as this vulnerable human, should not be the key point of the memory Jay is telling to us. Jay never saw Batman cry over his death (he's dead) so neither should we fully be able to experience that.
