Hey, I’m just glad they did. I had lots of issues on my Series X. To the point where I sold it. (I only bought the Series X for two reasons, to play games with my coworker and to play Starfield) I held out hope for a PS5 port because I believed it would run better on my Pro. I hear lots of people are having issues and I feel blessed that it’s running flawlessly for me.
Starfield's reported PS5 sales figures so far aren't setting the world on fire.
In fact, it does have me wondering if it was truly worth breaking Xbox exclusivity in the first place...

At launch. I preordered it on Xbox. It started out fine but whatever bug it had seemed to be progressive so the more you played it the worse it got. I think Bethesda managed to figure out that it was from leaving it suspended in quick resume. I have not closed the game in a week on my Pro. I just quick save and put the system into rest mode. Not a single issue yet. I’m so glad I can finally play it properly. There’s nothing like constantly having to restart the game and skip through hours of dialogue just to get back to where you were only for it to screw up again.
@GrahamMStein@redsident_@BethesdaStudios When did you buy the series x for the game? Because shortly after launch I had everything turned up and no stutters, frame drops or crashes. But more recently (before most recent update) it was more buggy
Thanks for sharing your adventures across the Settled Systems this weekend — we’ve loved reading them! We’re aware of some reported PS5 crashing issues and have narrowed them down to a small number of causes. We’re addressing these in a hotfix we’re aiming to release this week. Thanks for flagging, and we’ll keep you posted.
@MRChuks15@BethesdaStudios Ran like hot trash on my Series X. I’ve been waiting like a year and half for it to hit PlayStation so I could actually play through the game. I’m glad it works right on my Pro, or it would have been the last Bethesda product I’d ever buy.
@B1gDaddyMarv I do this quest as soon as I find the slate while I’m with Sara. So… level 2, 3…?!? I take her with me and collect the ship before ever heading back to the lodge.
Take your time in Starfield. Search everything, read notes, eavesdrop on conversations, and definitely search bodies for data slates. You’ll find many quests this way, and some of them are exceptional, like The Mantis Quest. It will be a random loot drop on an enemy spacer.
▪️Data slate will be titled “secret outpost.”
▪️Once read, you’ll get the quest. I’d suggest reaching level 10 before going on the quest.
▪️Bring plenty of med packs, weapons, and ammo. Get ready for a fight.
▪️The quest is like a self-contained dungeon crawl with combat, exploration, and light puzzle-solving.
▪️Rewards incredible early game loot that you do not want to miss.
▪️Flavorful and atmospheric with good environmental storytelling.
▪️Enjoy the loot and the cool lore!
Alberta separatists make me laugh.
Alberta is treaty land. All of it. Treaties with the crown that existed BEFORE the creation of Alberta.
Alberta is going nowhere.
How do you think God felt watching your predecessors open the Doctrine of Discovery knowing full well what they would use it for?? How do you think God felt watching the rulers your predecessors bestowed power upon rape, pillage, and plunder the indigenous tribes of the old world? How do you think God felt watching Catholic priests and nuns abusing children in Canadas residential school system??
God’s heart is torn apart by wars, violence, injustice and lies. But our Father’s heart is not with the wicked, the arrogant, or the proud. God’s heart is with the little ones and the humble, and with them He builds up His Kingdom of love and peace day by day. Wherever there is love and service, God is there. #ApostolicJourney#Algeria
@Xboxinist@GrahamMStein@Ankur_aim No you compared the 2 versions now you deliberately avoided asking about starfield at launch on xbox because you KNOW it also had issues
When Starfield dropped in 2023, I game for 8 hours bug-free on my Xbox Series X and S!
Now in 2026 🚀 Heard PS5/Pro are struggling.
Always knew Xbox was far superior 😉
Sorry, not sorry, PlayStation fans! 🎮
PS5 Pro hardware right now -
Your anger is misdirected.
You should be mad at those who added the letters MMIW to the alphabet soup (see below). They're the ones who made a mockery of the missing women.
You should also be angry at native men. They're the ones who murdered the majority of the missing women.

I don’t care anymore. The only Xbox exclusive game I actually liked was Starfield. And it’s running better on my Pro than it ever did on my Series X. If they keep their games exclusive, I’ll just stop playing them. I just can’t see a company as greedy as Microsoft choose to lose potential income. 🤷♂️
notable subset of Xbox Series X players experienced crashes and technical bugs during Starfield’s launch (Sept 2023). Reports ranged from occasional freezes to persistent 15-minute crashes, sometimes linked to broken day-one patches. Persistent Crashing: Some users reported continuous crashes every 15 minutes or less, often suspected to be related to a faulty day-one patch installation. Bethesda identified that Quick Resume (the Series X feature tied to rest/sleep mode) and leaving the game running while in standby causes significant instability, crashes, and save issues in Starfield.
