@Senninsage Why did the PS guys lock in to the platform originally? Wasn't power, on paper series x had it beat. Leaving either library, controller or exclusive games coming to the platform. Controllers - exclusive (apart from now PC) Library & Games - exclusive Exclusivity matters.

It doesn't. It matters to a massively small portion of overall gamers. Look at the response for Starfield on Playstation 5. Why didn't those people grab an Xbox for it? Because lots of consumers don't operate the same way. Some are just locked into their preferred platforms.

The slide at the XBOX event says: "PLAYS YOUR XBOX CONSOLE & PC GAMES". The key word there is "XBOX" which precedes "CONSOLE & PC GAMES" They are saying that it will play the "CONSOLE" and "PC" versions of "XBOX" games. If it played "XBOX" games and "PC" games, they would have left out "CONSOLE" and it would have read: "PLAYS YOUR XBOX & PC GAMES" People are going to be mad when they realise this.

When I hear someone on Twitter X say that the next Xbox console Project Helix is a PC. They say it as if they ever made a console in their lives 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You have to laugh at this stuff. They say it with such conviction as if what they are saying we are just finding out. So I’ll ask them… do you go around saying your mobile phone is a computer? Of course you don’t.
