Concurrent resus, antimicrobials etc, and operation. Very rare that you cannot proceed quickly to GA for life saving surgery, most situations can be temporised long enough for damage/source control, ICU etc

Very little role for delaying as cause needs fixing whilst patient physiology being corrected alongside. Delay is if can’t ga eg k+++ and then optimise in anaesthetic room often best👍
