It seems like every other state in New England is trying to pass policies to force their successful folks to all move to New Hampshire. Going to make it hard for young people here to buy a home.

Simple answer: freedom and low taxes. Rhode Island wants to make the same stupid mistake as MA by passing a wealth tax. Or they can do the smart thing and pass @JessicaforRI’s income tax reduction plan and actually be competitive

The rest of the Northeast? Not a good place to die. NH is the only state in the entire Northeast corner of the US that doesn't have an estate or inheritance tax.
