@BlakePhillip95 @vilenblood Yeah I'm not a fan of Dawn's story and characters at all, or it's art style. I already felt Aria was pretty out of place I'm the series with its story and characters, Dawn just doubled down - literally. Gameplay-wise I think they're both fine though, personally.

@AestheticGamer1 It's been real fun watching all these RE fans act as if the games are some super rich narrative that deserves respect. It's RE, not Silent Hill. Not even Alone in the Dark. There isn't a single RE *story* that is anything more than dumb cheesy fun. It's really not that deep.

@dyhptg Always liked that version of the logo a lot. It's a shame that this was cancelled. If nothing else, it seemed to capture the atmosphere and style of classic castlevania much more strongly than what we ultimately got instead.

@KalevalaNite @AeonLthlm @TheBashNation I wasn't replying to you there so wtf are you on about? They were saying Simon has never been presented as uncouth or rude. Even though Simon has only ever been presented that ways save 1 gacha mobile game. They said x and y aren't canon, I said x is and it makes no difference.

@AeonLthlm @KalevalaNite @TheBashNation Judgement is canon and always has been, it's written by IGA and goes out of its way to tie into established canon. People just threw a hissy fit over its art style. Simon is an established character regardless of canon and he's only ever been presented as polite once in 40 yrs.

@AeonLthlm @KalevalaNite @TheBashNation Judgement, which itself was just following along the manual descriptions of him from the original game. His characterisation in Judgement and Mirror of Fate both align closely with his original story texts. Even down to his motivation being comparison to Trevor/Christopher.

@KalevalaNite @TheBashNation -just for different reasons since Dracula is out of the picture. It's the same for most show characters people pretend aren't like their game counterparts - they are like them, some fans just personally dislike the writing style.

@KalevalaNite @TheBashNation Leon sure. But Simon has only ever been presented as uncouth and rude in the games. The sole exception is a gacha mobile game that frankly has fanfic level writing anyway. Otherwise, Simon is a barbaric character with a temper and inclination to force things.

O estilo artístico do jogo combina com a franquia, e Castlevania não tem um estilo fixo. E é claro que Joana Darc não vai ser uma vilã nesse jogo, do mesmo jeito que o Ricther não é vilão em Symphony. Não sei muito sobre a empresa, mas eles realmente parecem gostar da franquia.
