@daioilslayer I was confused for a second before remembering that Ralph is the name he was given in Japan. For us westerners he’s referred to as Trevor. The difference as to why is that Ralph doesn’t sound as good in English, as the west chooses names off of vibes, rather than meaning.

@wyrmze Killing his own son, this showing there’s still humanity inside him. I dunno, it just makes the Netflix version feel less tragic, and honestly a weaker antagonist (in my opinion)

@wyrmze I think the thing that’s lost in the adaptation for me, is that, in the wish to end humanity, Dracula lost himself, and all that was human inside of him, becoming a monstrous shell of himself, which I feel is lost due to Netflix Dracula giving up when he realizes he’s-
