@benhumphrey_04 @northern_shrimp In reality the play offs are our aim but you have to aim bigger. This time last year I didn’t think we had a hope of reaching the playoffs. I do think some Blues’ have a certain sense of entitlement but other teams are allowed to be better than us as has been shown recently.

@Hartypoos @northern_shrimp If by you don’t think anyone has settled for play offs, do you honestly believe that we can still win the league? I can’t see us getting more points between now and the end of the season than Carlisle, Rochdale or York.

Hopefully Cardwell is a bit of a spark for this season because it feels flat
Maybe spoilt last year by being underdogs and the expectation is too high.

@benhumphrey_04 @northern_shrimp Not sure anyone has settled for the play offs but the reality is in this ridiculous league that if a team is well clear at the top the remainder of the season becomes almost meaningless. York found this out last year when their season virtually finished in March.

@northern_shrimp Absolutely hit the nail on the head. No doubt this team is better than last year but, feels like everyone’s basically settled for play-off football which leaves little excitement between now and when/if we get there!
