@Fakefactsdaily2 Yeah, from what I’ve read it has something to do with Sonic Blast Man and its trademark that meant that SEGA couldn’t use the “Sonic” name in arcades at the time. I don’t know, it seems really weird to me, but that’s supposedly what happened.

I always thought “SegaSonic the Hedgehog” was such a weird name. I know the context now of why it doesn’t have just “Sonic” in its title, but still… Could you imagine if Nintendo released a game called “Super NintendoMario Bros.”?

I try not to use the rewind features too often because it can take away the challenge in games and all that, but when I need rupees in Zelda I will totally cheat my ass off doing this.

@Otherphazon13 Thanks! Found that one at a convention a while ago. That’s awesome! Super Metroid is also great. I sadly completely missed out on that game in its time, but I played it on my New 3DS when it came out on the Virtual Console for that, and really enjoyed it. Better late than never!

@HatStackMike Love the shirt dude! Super Metroid will always be my fave in the series. Its the game that got me into the series and holds a special place for me. Its the perfect game. Been a fan for 30 years 🤘🏻

Favorite Metroid game? I’ll be honest, I’m kind of just a casual Metroid fan. I’ve only played a few of the games, but I do enjoy the series and should really play more of it. With that being said, playing through Metroid: Zero Mission was my favorite experience of the series!

@kirswords I haven’t played Fusion, but people seem to say that one is really good. I was enjoying Dread but it kept kicking my ass. 😆 I really need to get back into that one.

@HatStackMike Word. Fusion was really good too from what I remember. I’m the same way though, love the series and Samus is literally one of my favorite video game heroines, but I have to play thru more of them. Only played a tiny bit of the OG and Super, none of Samus Returns, none of Dread.

@valkiriforce Yeah Super Metroid is great! I actually didn’t play that game until it came out on the Virtual Console for exclusively New 3DS, but better late than never. I had a great time playing through it, and I can see why it’s held in such high regard.

@XRPee1983 Out of these, I would probably go with Super Street Fighter 2. That’s just an infinitely replayable game for me. Although if I played only Super Mario All-Stars, it would motivate me to finally try and complete The Lost Levels, so maybe I’d go for that instead. 😆

I’ve seen others say this so I know it’s not just me, but man YouTube’s algorithm really sucks now. Everything it recommends is like “why _ sucks now” or “_ is worse than you think”. If I watched videos like that it would make sense, but I don’t. YT just wants to bring me down.
